He was a very famous national and international figure. Due to his difficulties during his first prime ministerial career in India, he is considered to be the architect of modern India. Nehru ji has the distinction of being prime minister for the country's first and long term from 1947 to 1964. Immediately after the independence of the country, he took the responsibility to pursue India.
On November 14, 1889, he was born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh to the house of Motilal Nehru and Kamala Nehru. His father was a very rich, respected and successful lawyer at that time. Moti Lal ji got Nehru as a king. Pandit Nehru received his early education from a very capable faculty at home. For the sake of higher education at the age of 15, Nehru went to England where he studied at Harrow and Cambridge University. He completed his degree in 1910 and studied law like his father and later he became an advocate. After returning to the country, he started his practice with the Allahabad High Court. At the age of 27, Nehru married Kamala Kaul in 1916 and became the father of a daughter in the form of Indira Gandhi.
During slavery they saw that the British were behaving badly with the people of India and only then they decided to join the freedom movement and resolved to fight against the British for India. His patriot heart was not allowing him to sit comfortably and was compelled to join the movement of freedom with Bapu and finally he joined Gandhiji's non-cooperation movement. He went to jail many times but never got disturbed by this and despite every punishments of the British he continued his fight with happiness. Eventually India's day of Independence came and India became independent on August 15, 1947 and India chose Nehru ji as the first Prime Minister of India to pursue the country in the right direction.
After his election as Prime Minister of India, he produced various ways in the way of progress of the country. Dr. Rajendra Prasad (late President) once said about him: "The country is progressing on the path of progress under the leadership of Pandit ji." Children's uncle died on 27 May 1964 due to cardiac arrest while serving the country of Nehru and the first Prime Minister of India.
