If I got the chance to become the health minister I will enforce the following changes-

Hospital infrastructure- Firstly will improve all hospital's infrastructure with better facilities.Recruitment of Doctors and nurses- Recruit more doctors and nurses and create more vacancies. More doctors, faster treatment.Income and working hours- The income of doctors will be increased and working hours will be fixed. Putting strain on doctors for 72 hours duty isn't a healthy practice. Fixed working hours like US lead to better patient outcome.Reduced costs- Reduced costs of investigations and medicine for everyone. Free investigation and medicines on basis of economical condition.Chronic condition- Special treatment facilities for patients suffering from chronic conditions, genetic disorders, cancer or those requiring long term treatment, because the treatment is costly and unaffordable by majority.Peripheral and small cities/villages hospital- All lab tests and investigations should be available at all hospitals. So that small city people's don't have to go to major cities in search of treatment.Stronger laws against violence- For safety of doctors and patients.
