Let the sum recieved by r = x

Then q = x/3

p = 2x/3

The equation so formed is-

p + q + r = 3000

⇒ x + x/3 + 2x/3 = 3000

⇒ 3x/3 + x/3 + 2x/3 = 3000

⇒ 6x/3 = 3000

⇒ 2x = 3000

⇒ x = 3000/2

⇒ x = 1500

p = 2x/3 = 2 × ₹1500/3 = ₹3000/3 = ₹1000

q = x/3 = ₹1500
