so let the amount of sugar added be "x"

now, 40% of 300 grams = \frac{40}{100} \times 300

                                        = 120 grams

so now according to the question

120 + x = 150

(since 50% of 300 is 150)

x = 30

now, 30 grams of sugar should be added

nikhilharankhede28: 120+30=150gram
nikhilharankhede28: please confirm
Anonymous: the answer is 30 grams

nikhilharankhede28: Sir 120 grams of sugar will not add
Anonymous: 120 grams is the 40% of the 300 gram
Anonymous: and the 10% of 300 gram is 30

In 300 gram of solutions
Percentage of sugar -40%
•: Sugar= 300×40/100
=120 grams
Let X gram of sugar is added
Now according to the question
120+X/300+X. =1/2
