mass of solution = 100 gm

mass of urea in the solution= 30 gm

mass of h20 in the solution = 100- 30 = 70 gm

1) w/ v% =mass of solute ( urea) / volume of solution ×100

= 30gm /(2×1000) ml ×100

= 1.5 gm ml^-1

2) molarity = no of moles of solute / volume of solution

no of moles of urea = 30 /60 = 1/2

molarity = 1/2 /2 = 1/4 = 0.25
