MOLES OF H2SO4 = MASS÷MOLAR MASS

MOLAR MASS OF H2SO4 = 1×2+ 32+16×4= 34+64 = 98g/mol

MOLES OF H2SO4 = 30÷98 = 0.306 mol

MOLES OF SO3 =MASS÷MOLAR MASS

MOLAR MASS OF SO3 =32+16×3 =32+ 48 = 80g/mol

MOLES OF SO3 =MASS OF SO3÷MOLAR MASS OF SO3

MOLES OF SO3=20÷80=1÷40= 0.25mol

FORMULA OF MOLE FRACTION = moles of solvent OR SOLUTE ÷ moles of solute + moles of solvent

MOLE FRACTION OF SO3 = MOLES OF SO3 ÷MOLES OF H2SO4+ MOLES OF SO3

MOLE FRACTION OF SO3 = 0.25÷0.306+0.25

MOLE FRACTION OF SO3 = 0.25÷0.556

MOLE FRACTION OF SO3 = 0.449
