the law of conservation of mass states that during any chemical reaction the amount of substance formed is equal to the total mass of reactant
30kg of nitrogen +10kg of hydrogen =40kg of ammonium is formed

hydrogen = 10 kg

according to law of conservation of mass,
ammonia = (30 + 10) kg = 40kg
