There is a mistake in this question because there are no signs i.e. plus or minus between 30L and 3Q ; and 30L and 6Q. The question should be like this :- 30L + 3Q = 1167 and 30L + 6Q = 1284
Solution:-
30L + 6Q = 1284 ....(1)
30L + 3Q = 1167 .....(2)  
Subtracting (2) from (1),
   30L +6Q = 1284
   30L +3Q = 1167
 -        -        -

⇒         3Q =  117
___________________
After subtracting (2) from (1),we get
3Q = 117
Q = 39
Putting the value of Q = 39 in equation (1), we get
30L + 3Q = 1167
30L + 3 × 39 = 1167
30L = 1167 - 117 
30L = 1050 
L = 1050/30
L = 35
