Renewable sources :-

  • Sources which can be renewed after a time span.

  • It is also known as inexhaustible sources.

  • They can be divided into continuous or flow.

  • These are not affected by human activities.

  • These are environment friendly.

  • The cost is low.

  • Ex - solar energy , water energy etc.

Non - Renewable sources :-

  • Sources which cannot be renewed again and again if we use it excessively.

  • It is also known as Exhaustible sources.

  • They can be recyclable or non - recyclable.

  • These are affected by human activities.

  • These are non - environment friendly.

  • The cost is very high.

  • Ex - coal , petrol etc.
