  • Let the bottom left vertice be B
  • Let the bottom right vertice be C

To Find:

  • The value of angle a

Solution:

At vertice A:

125+BAC=180     As they are a linear pair

BAC=180-125

BAC=55

At vertice B:

125+ABC=180      As they are a linear pair

ABC=180-125

ABC=55

Angle a= ABC+BAC    Using exterior angle property

a=55+55

a=110

Hence the a is 110 degrees.
