Answer:

the value of m is -3

Step-by-step explanation:

as it is given

3x-2y=4

and, 2x+y =5

so Multiply equation no. 2 by 2

so, 2(2x+y)=2(5)

4x+2y=10

now, add both equations

4x+2y+(3x-2y) =10+4

4x+2y+3x-2y=14

7x=14

x=14/7=2

again for value of y

2(2)+y=5

y=5-4=1

now, put value of both x and y in the equation

y=2x+m

1=2(2)+m

m=1-4=-3

so the value of m is -3

Given :-3x-2y=4 - - - - - - (I) 2x+y=5 - - - - - - - (ii) Multiplying 2 in eq (I) & 4 in eq (ii) we obtain that :- 6x-4y=8 -----------(iii) 8x+4y=20 - - - - - - - - - (IV)

Adding eq (iii) & eq (iv) we obtain that :- 14x=28 =>x=28/14 =>x=2 Substituting the value of x in eq (I) we obtain that :- 3(2)-2y=4 =>-2y=4-6 =>-2y=-2 =>2y=2 =>y=2/2 =>y=1 y=2x+m =>1=2(2)+m =>m=1-4 =>m=-3[If you like my answer then please mark me as brainliest and I will follow you back. ]
