Answer:

in this By pythagoras theorem

(PS)square=(ST)square+(PT)square

(PS)square =1089+3136

(PS)square=4225

PS=65cm

Answer:

ST is a tangent to the circle to the circle touching the circle at point T and ST=56

any tangent to the circle is alway from right angle so, PTS=90⁰

let the distance of S from P= SP

now by Pythagoras theorem in triangle PTS we get

PS²= PT²+ST²

PS²=33³+56²

PS=✓1089+3136

PS=4225

PS=65

thus we get the distance between P and S is 65cm..
