First we arrange the given observations or data in the ascending or descending order

Ascending order => 10, 10, 10, 10, 15, 15, 15, 18, 20, 20, 21, 25

Mode is the observattion that occurs the most

In this case, mode = 10

since it occurs 4 times

Median is the middlemost value

Number of observations = 12

Therefore the median will be the n/2 th  and  (n/2) + 1 th observations

Median = 12/2 =6 th and

             = 12/2 + 1 = 7 th

Median will be the average of 6th and 7th observations

= (15 + 15)/2

= 30/2

= 15

Median = 15

Mean will be the average of all the observations

= Sum of all the observations / Number of observations

= (10+10+10+10+15+15+15+18+20+20+21+25) / 12

= 189/12

= 15.75

Hence,

  • Mean = 15.75
  • Median = 15
  • Mode = 10
