Given :

  • Total coins = 112
  • One rupee coin is thrice from five rupees coin

To Find :-

  • Each denomination she has .

SoluTion:-

Let us assume that the coins to be x .

 \implies\sf \: 5x + 1(3x) = 112\\

 \implies\sf \: 5x + 3x = 112\\

 \implies\sf 8x =1 12\\

 \implies\sf \: x \:  =  \dfrac{112}{8}\\

 \implies\sf \pink{ x \:  = 14} \star

Number of coin :

  •  \sf {5 \: rupee \: coin \:  = x = 14}
  •  \sf {1 \: rupee \: coin = 3x = 14 \times 3 = 42}

Let's verify

\implies \sf 5(14) + 1(42) = 112\\

\implies \sf 70 + 42 = 112\\

\implies \sf 112 = 112\\

Hence, verified.
