Given:

A dozen of soaps with

  • Cost = Rs. 153.60

What To Find:

Cost of 15 soaps.

How to Find:

To find the cost of 15 soaps we whave to first find the cost of one soap after finding the cost of one soap we will multiply the cost of one soap with 15 soaps.

Solution:

  • Find the cost of one soap

1 dozen = 12

Cost of 12 soaps = Rs. 153.60

Cost of 1 soap = \dfrac{153.60}{12} = Rs. 12.8

  • Find the cost of 15 soaps

Cost of 15 soaps = 15 soaps × Cost of one soap

Cost of 15 soaps = 15 × 12.8 = Rs. 192

∴ Hence the cost of 15 soaps is Rs. 192.
