32651: the surface area of a spherical part of a hemispherical bowl with a flat circular detachable cover, excluding the cover, is 616 sq cm. the area of the cover is 38.5 sq cm. what is the volume of the bowl?

According to the question, the surface area of sphere is 616cm2 and also surface area of sphere is πr2.


Therefore, this should consider by taking 4πe2=616cm2 and it takes r2=616x1/4x7/22.


The area then calculated as r2=49 and r=7cm. The volume of the bowl takes easy to calculate with area of sphere.
