Sp of buffalo1 = Rs 20,000

Gain =5%

So, Cost price of buffalo1 =  \frac{100}{105}  \times 20000= Rs. 19047.62

SP of buffalo 2 = Rs 20,000

Loss =10%

Cost price of buffalo 2 =  \frac{100}{90}   \times 20000= Rs 22,222.22

Total Cost price = Rs 41269.84

Total selling price = Rs 40,000

Loss = Rs 1269.84
