Identify less than type og and more than type ogive from the given graph,

The curve 1 is less than ogive

And the curve 2 is more-than ogive.

(As, in less than ogive, the cumulative frequency (cf) increases.

() Find the median rainfall of Dispur

The point of intersection of less than ogive and more than ogive is the median.

So, we can obtain the median by drawing a perpendicular line from the point of intersection of less than ogive and more than ogive.

Hence we get,

Median rainfall of Dispur  to be 21 cm.

Obtain the Mode the data if mean rainfall is 23.4cm

As we know that,

3 Median = Mode + 2 Mean

Median = 21 cm

Mean = 23.4 cm

3 × 21 = Mode + 2 × 23.4

63 = Mode + 46.8

Mode = 16.2 cm

Make Frequency distribution table from above graph.​
