33. In a AABC, D and E are points on the sides AB
and AC respectively such that DE || BC. If
AD = 2.5 cm, DB = 3 cm and AE = 3.75 cm,
then find the length of AC.​

ab/db=ae/ec(bpt)

2.5/3=3.75/ec

2.5ec=11.25(by cross multiplying)

ec=11.25/2

=5.625 cm

ac +ae=ac.

so 5.625+3.75

=9.375 cm
