Given :

  • Area of triangle = 24cm²
  • Base of triangle = 15 cm

To find :

  • The height of the triangle.

Solution :

Let's assume the height of the triangle as h.

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base×height

According to Question,

→ 24 = 1/2 × 15 × h

→ 24 × 2 = 15h

→ 48 = 15h

→ h = 48/15

→ h = 3.2

Therefore,

  • The height of the triangle is 3.2 cm respectively.

Check :

As we know,

★Area of ∆ = 1/2 × base × height

Putting the value,

— 24 = 1/2×15×3.2

— 24 = 15×32/2×10

— 24 = 480/20

— 24 = 24

Thus, L.H.S. = R.H.S.

Hence, checked !!

Hey there mate here is your answer

Given, Area of triangle = 24cm^{2}

           Base of triangle = 15cm

To find height of triangle

Area    = \frac{1}{2} x Base x Height

Height =  \frac{2 Area}{Base}

            = \frac{2(24)}{15}

            =  \frac{48}{15}

            = 16/5

∴ Height of triangle = \frac{16}{5}
