R1 and R2 are in series. So, their eq. r = 2 + 2 = 4 ohm
R3 and R4 are in parallel. So their r~eq = 1/2 +1/2 = 1 ohm.
Now, eq, r and r~eq are in series
So equivalent R = 4 + 1 ohm
Equivalent or effective resistance of the circuit = 5 ohm
35)resistance between A and B -
1/6 + 1/6 = 1/r
1/r = 2/6
r = 3 ohm
Similarly, second arrangement -
1/r~ = 1/6 +1/6
1/r~ = 2/6
r~ = 3 ohm
Now, r and r~ are in series
Therefore, effective resistance between A and B is r + r ~ = 3 + 3 ohm
Resistance between A and B is 6 ohm.
