R1 and R2 are in series. So, their eq. r = 2 + 2 = 4 ohm

R3 and R4 are in parallel. So their r~eq = 1/2 +1/2 = 1 ohm.

Now, eq, r and r~eq are in series

So equivalent R = 4 + 1 ohm

Equivalent or effective resistance of the circuit = 5 ohm

35)resistance between A and B -

1/6 + 1/6 = 1/r

1/r = 2/6

r = 3 ohm

Similarly, second arrangement -

1/r~ = 1/6 +1/6

1/r~ = 2/6

r~ = 3 ohm

Now, r and r~ are in series

Therefore, effective resistance between A and B is r + r ~ = 3 + 3 ohm

Resistance between A and B is 6 ohm.
