SOLUTION :-
Here we have two equations...
2x - y = 5 ---(1)
and 3x + 2y = 11 ---(2)
Now,
On multiplying with 3 in the first equation... and multiplying with 2 in the second equation , we will get two new equation.. they are
6x - 3y = 15 ---(3) .......... [by using equation ---(1)]
and 6x + 4y = 22 ---(4) ............ [by using equation ---(2)]
Therefore, on subtracting the above equations, we have
6x - 3y = 15
(-)6x+(-)4y = (-)22
------------------------------
0 - 7y = -7
7y = 7
y = 1 answer...
At last, putting the value of y in equation ---(1) we get
2x - (1) = 5
2x = 6
x = 3
