each type that are made per day, and the average percentage of faulty
machines pre day.

Answer:

The answers are as follows

Step-by-step explanation:

1) to find the average number of  faulty machines produced by the company in a day

          from question it's given that

for top loaded,

      machine made = 1000

   percentage of fault = 2%

so the number of fault machine = 2% of 1000

                                                       = \frac{2}{100} × 1000

                                                       = 20 ( ∵ 100 and 1000 gets divided and we get 10)

number of fault top loaded machine = 20

for front loaded,

machine made = 2000

   percentage of fault = 2.5%

so the number of fault machine = 2.5% of 2000

                                                       = \frac{2.5}{100} × 2000

                                                       = 50 ( ∵ 100 and 2000 gets divided and we get 20)

number of fault front loaded machine = 50

∴ total number of fault machine = 20 + 50

                                                     = 70

2) Shubhi is absolutely right for top  loaded machine , but not for front loaded .
