35 circular plates, each of radius 14cm and thickness 3cm are placed one above the another to form a cylindrical solid. calculate the total surface area and volume of the cylinder so formed.

height of cylinder = 35 plates into 3 (thickness) = 105 cm
volume of cylinder = pie r square h
total surface area = 2 pie(r +h)
