hence,voltage(potential difference) of power source=4×1.5=6V

work(energy)=voltage×charge

voltage across 2 cells=2×1.5=3V

energy=3×1=3J

voltage across 3 cells=3×1.5=4.5V

energy=4.5×1=4.5J
