Given :- 35% of A is equall to the 45% of B. The difference between A and B is 186, then 40% of the sum of A and B ?

Solution :-

→ 35% A = 45% B

→ A/B = 45/35

→ A/B = 9/7

let A is 9x and b is 7x .

so,

→ 9x - 7x = 186

→ 2x = 186

→ x = 93

then,

→ 40% of (A + B) = 40% of (9x + 7x) = 40 * 16 * 93/100 = 595.2 (Ans.)

Given :  35% of A is equal  to the 45% of B

The difference between A and B is 186

To Find :  40% of the sum of A and B

Solution:

35% of A is equal  to the 45% of B

=> 0.35A  = 0.45B

=> 7A  = 9B

A  - B   = 186

=> 7A - 7B = 7 * 186

=> 9B - 7B  = 1302

=> 2B = 1302

=> B = 651

7A  = 9B

=> A = 9 * 651 / 7

=> A = 837

A + B = 651 + 837  = 1,488

40 % of A + B = (40/100) 1488  =   595.2

40% of the sum of A and B   =   595.2
