therefore 35% is men,40 % is women
100-(35+40)% is children
= 100-75
=25

so, remaining percentage ( children ) = {100-(35+40)} = 25%

so, 25% of total pop are children = 20000.

clearly,1 % = 20000/25 = 800

no of women = 1%(800) * percentage of women = 800*35 = 28000
