35. Two identical conducting spheres A and B having charge 20 and 40, are kept r distance apart and force between them is F. Now they are touched and then separated again to same distance r. Now force between them is F, then F (1) F' = (2) F= -F 9 NILUNI 100 000 (3) F'=-F

Answer:

Initial force =r2K(40×10−6)(−20×10−6)=r28K×10−10N

when they are touched the charge redistrubuted among them & final charge on both of them is average of them.

⇒ Charge on one sphere =(240−20)=10μc

                             2nd sphere =10μc

Final force =r2(K)(10×10−6)(10×10−6)=r2(K)(10−10)

⇒ Initial force : Final force =8:1

F'9/8F

=》3. is the correct option
