Answer:

Answer: scattering of lights means when light passes through path and we can see dust particles present in that light. 2.it is because wavelength of blue colour is equal to dust particles present in the atmosphere hence blue light scatters towards the Earth and other lights scatters different directions.

scattering of lights means when light passes through path and we can see dust particles present in that light. The scattering of light depends on the wavelength of light and also size of particles.

The sky appears blue when the scattering of light takes place and the wavelength of blue colour is equal to dust particles present in the atmosphere therefore blue light scatters towards the Earth and other lights scatter different directions. therefore the clear sky seems blue in colour. As there is no atmosphere in space and hence light does not scatter into its constituent colours that is why the sky appears dark instead of blue to an astronaut in space.
