Solution :

******************************************
Absolute value of an integer :

If ' x ' is an integer then it's absolute

value is denoted by | x | and is

defined as

i ) | x | = x , if x is positive ,

ii ) | x | = 0 , if x = 0 ,

iii ) | x | = - x , if x is negative

******************************************

Here ,

x = -35 ( negative integer )

Absolute value of -35

= | -35 |

= - ( -35 )

= 35

Therefore ,

| -35 | = 35
