Let 4% A=x

6% B=3500-x

S.I=P*R*T/100

S.I for A + S.I for B=498

X*4*3/100 +(3500-x)*6*3/100=498

3x/25 + 31500-9x/50=498

6x+31500-9x/50=498

6x-9x+31500 = 498*50

-3x = 24900 - 31500

-3x = - 6600

x = 6600/3

x = 2200

x = 4%

= 2200 Rs.
