Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

First we wouldfind the c.s.a

C.S.A.= 2h(l+b)= 2*0.5*(2+1)=3m^2

After this we would find base area and add

Base area=l*b=2*1=2m^2

Tin required for one box = 2+3=5m^2

Tin required for 20 boxes =5*20=100m^2

SOLUTION:

dimension of cuboidal tin = 30cm×40cm×50cm

let length = 40cm

breath = 30cm

height = 50cm

Total surface area = 2(lb+bh+lh)

                           = 2(40×30 + 30×50 + 40×50)

                           = 2(1200 + 1500 + 2000)

                           = 2(4700)

                           = 9400 cm²

TSA of one tin box = 9400 cm²

TSA of 20 tin boxes = 9400×20 = 18800 cm² = 1.88m²

Cost of tin = Rs. 20/m²

Total cost = 1.88×20 =Rs. 37.60
