36(3x + 5) + 2(x + 5) = 35 \\ 108x + 180 + 2x + 10 = 35 \\ 108x + 2x + 180 + 10 = 35 \\ 110x + 190 = 35 \\ 110x = 35 - 190 \\ 110x =  - 155 \\ x =  \frac{ - 155}{110}  \\  =  - 1.40

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

=>36(3x+5)+2(x+5)=35

Expanding the terms and removing the brackets:

=>108x+180+2x+10=35

=>110x+180+10=35

solving second term

=>110x+190=35

Arrange the terms and make constant terms together and Variable term on the other side:

=> when move 190 to right side its sign gets changed from +ve to -ve .

=>110x= 35-190

=>190 is being substracted from 35 but sign would be - ve as 190 is > than 35.

=>110x=-155

=>x= -155/110

=>x = -31/22

=>x= -1.40909 ( approx 1.41)

Check:

=>36[3(-1.41)+5)+2(-1.41+5)]=35

Solving the values inside the brackets

=>36(-4.23+5 ) +2(3.59)

=>36(0.77)+7.18

=>27.72+7.18

=>34.9 = 35 ( round off )
