36% of tarts that the baker baked were strawberry tarts. He baked 98 more chocolate tarts than strawberry tarts. How many tarts did the baker baked in all ?

Chocolate tarts = 98 more than strawberry tarts

= \frac{36y}{100} + 98

Total tarts = Chocolate tarts + Strawberry tarts

= 2[\frac{36y}{100}] + 98

= \frac{72y}{100} + 98

=\frac{72y + 9800}{100}
