\bigstar Question :

\mapstoThe area of an equilateral triangle of side 40 CM is?

\bigstarTo Find :

\mapstoArea of an equilateral triangle = ?

\bigstarGiven :

\mapstoSide = 40 cm

\bigstarRequired Formula :

\mapsto\bf{Area \:of \:an \:equilateral \:triangle\: = \frac{\sqrt{3}}{4} a^{2} }

\bigstarSolution :

 \mapsto{ \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4} \times 40 ^{2}  }

 \mapsto  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times 40 \times 40

 \mapsto \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times 1600

 \sqrt{3}  = 1.732

 \mapsto \:  \frac{1.732 \times 1600}{4}

 \mapsto \frac{2771.2}{4}

 \mapsto \: 692.8cm

Area of equilateral triangle is 3/4

3/4 x ( 40 ) ²

3/4 x 1600

3 x 400

Value of 3 = 1.732

1.732 x 400

692.8 cm Answer
