Amount of heat(energy) produced is given by,

H = I2R t

Where, I = current passing through the wire = ?

R = resistance of wire =1000 ohm

t = time interval for current flow = 5 minutes = 300s.

ekta08: I=√h/Rt
ekta08: √3600/1000*300
ekta08: I=0.346A
