(37*28+37*46)/(36*37+37)

Just wondering if there’s an easier way to solve this problem without doing extensive multiplication, and just using common factoring?

You can use common factor 37

(37 * 28 + 37 * 46)/(36 * 37 + 37 *1)

= [37 (28 + 46) / 37 (36 + 1)]

= (28 + 46 )/(36 + 1)

= 74 / 37

= 2
