1. Draw a line segment BC =6 cm .
2. Open compass of length 7 cm and mark curve lfrom point C.
3. Open compass of length 11 cm and mark curve from point B.
4. These curve cut each other at point D.
5. Join B to D and C to D
6. Open compass of length 9 cm and mark curve from point C.
7. Open compass of length 9 cm and mark curve from point B.
8. These curve cut each other at point A
9. Join A to B and A to D
Hence ABCD is the required quadrilateral
