\bigstar Question :

\longmapsto If (x+4)(x-5) = 0, then find the value of x.

\bigstar To Find :

\longmapsto Value of x = ?

\bigstar Solution :

\mapsto (x+4)(x-5) = 0

\mapsto x+4 = x + 5

\mapsto x+x = 5 -4

\mapsto 2x = 1

\longmapsto x = \frac{1}{2} (or) 0.5

Let us verify that,

\mapsto (0.5 + 4)(0.5-5)=0

\mapsto 4.5 - 4.5 = 0

\thereforeThe value of x is 0.5 .
