Answer:

Given :-

  • Area of triangular field = 96 m
  • Height and base are in ratio 1:3

To Find :-

Base

Solution :-

As we know that

 \sf \red{Area =  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times base \times height}

Let the ratio be 1x and 3x

 \sf \: 96=  \dfrac{1}{2}  \times 1x \times 3x

 \sf \:  \dfrac{96}{2}  = 1 \times {3x}^{2}

 \sf \: 48 = 3x {}^{2}

 \sf \:    \dfrac{48}{3}  =  {x}^{2}

 \sf \: 16 =  {x}^{2}

 \sf \:  \sqrt{16  }  = x

 \sf \:  4 = x

Hence :-

Length of base = 3(4) = 12 cm
