AnswEr :

  • Ratio of Rs.10 Notes to Rs. 20 Notes is 3 : 4
  • Total Number of Notes in Purse is 84, then find Total Money.

Let the Rs.10 Notes be 3x and Rs. 20 Notes be 4x and total of them are 84.

According to the Question Now :

⇝ Rs. 10 Notes + Rs. 20 Notes = 84

⇝ 3x + 4x = 84

⇝ 7x = 84

  • Dividing Both term by 7

x = 12

◗ Rs.10 Notes = 3x = (3 × 12) = 36

◗ Rs. 20 Notes = 4x = (4 × 12) = 48

Now we calculate Total Money in Purse :

⇒ Total Money in the Purse

⇒ (Rs.10 Notes × 10) + (Rs.20 Notes × 20)

⇒ (36 × 10) + (48 × 20)

⇒ Rs. 360 + Rs. 960

Rs. 1320

Hence, Correct Option is [ A.] Rs. 1320
