See equation of Y axis is taken as x=0

Second eq: 3x – 2y = 6

Put x=0 in eq 2

3 (0) – 2y = 6

– 2y = 6

y = – 6 / 2

y = – 3

Hence point of intersection is ( 0 , 3 )
