396=2×2×3×3×11

so 11 must be divided to make it a perfect square.

396 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 11 = (2)^2 x (3)^2 x 11
so, after dividing 396 by 11 , it will be a perfect square which is 36 ....
and the square root of 36 is 6 ....
