Given :

  • Supplementary Angles are 3a+16 and 2a+34.

To Find :

  • Value of a.

Solution :

As we know that sum of angles of supplementary is 180°.So,

\longmapsto\tt{3a+16+2a+34=180\degree}

\longmapsto\tt{5a+50=180\degree}

\longmapsto\tt{5a=180\degree-50\degree}

\longmapsto\tt{5a=130\degree}

\longmapsto\tt{a=\cancel\dfrac{130}{5}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{a=26\degree}

So , The value of a is 26..

VERIFICATION :

\longmapsto\tt{3(26)+16+2(26)+34=180\degree}

\longmapsto\tt{78+16+52+34=180\degree}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{180\degree=180\degree}
