Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3a - 2(2a - 5) = 2(a+3) - 8

3a - 4a +10=2a+6 - 8

- a +10=2a - 2

2a+a = 10+ 2

3a=12

a=12/3

a=4

(3a-2)(2a-5)=2(a+3)-8

=>6a^2-15a-4a+10=2a+6-8

=>6a^2-19a+10=2a-2

=>6a^2=2a-2+19a-10

=>6a^2=21a-12

=>6a^2-21a+12=0

=>3(2a^2-7a+4)=0

=>3(2a^2-8a+1a+4)=0

=>3[-2a(a+4)+1(a+4)]=0

taking (a+4) common

=>3(a+4)(1-2a)=0

=>(a+4)(1-2a)=0/3

=>(a+4)(1-2a)=0

SO THERE ARE 2 VALUES OF a

(i)a+4=0

=>a= -4

(ii)1-2a=0

=>2a=0-1

=>a= -1/2
