Answer:

3a-2b = -10

3a-b = 10÷2

3a-b = 5 equation 1

2a +3b = 2

a+3b = 2÷2

a+ 3b = 1 Eqaution 2

From equation 1 and 2

3a-b =5

a+3b =1

-------------

2a-4b = 4 Eqaution 3

From Equation 3

2a-4b =4

2a= 4b÷4

2a = b

a = b/2

From equation 2

a+3b =1 Substitute a= b/2

 \frac{b}{2} +  \frac{3b}{1}  = 1

 \frac{b +6b }{2}  = 1

b+3b =1

4b = 1

b =  \frac{1}{4}

Now substitute b= 1/4 in Equation 1

3a-b =5

3a+1/4 = 5

3a = 5-1/4

3a =  \frac{5}{1}  -  \frac{1}{4}

3a =  \frac{20 - 1}{4}

3a = 19/4

3a =4.75

a = 4.75/3

a =1.58
