The first one is in the form of (a-b)^2. So, if we solve the first one we get 9a^2+4b^2-12ab. Next one is in tge form pf (a+b)^2. So, if we solve that we get 9a^2+4b^2+12qb. Now if we add those two, 12ab gets cancelled and the final answer is 18a^2+8b^2.

3a^2+2b^2-2*3a*-2b)+(3a^2+2b^2+2*3a*2b)
=9a^2+4b^2+12ab+9a^2+4b^2+12ab
=18a^2+8b^2+24ab
