Solution :

Given Linear equation in one

variable a is ,

3a - 5 = 10

add 5 both sides of the equation ,

we get

3a - 5 + 5 = 10 + 5

=> 3a = 15

divide each term by 3 , we get

( 3a/3 ) = ( 15/3 )

=> a = 5
