Answer:

3a+5b=26;a+5b=22

mark both of the equation as first and second respectively

now multiply second equation by 3

we get 3a+15b=66 now solve both the equations by elimination method

3a+5b=26

3a+15b=66

-10b=-40

b=4 now put the value of b in equation first

3a+5(4)=26

3a+20=26

3a=6

a=6

thanks.......,
