Answer:

3a - 5b= 4 (1)

9a=2b+7

9a-2b=7 (2)

From (1)

3a-5b=4

3a=4+5b

a= 4+5b

______ (3)

3

Substituting value of a in (2)

9a-2b=7

9(4+5b)/3-2b=7

(36+45b-6b)/3=7

36+39b=7×3

36+39b=21

36-21=-39b

15=-39b

b= -15/39

=-5/13

Putting b= -15/39 in (3)

a=4+(5×-5)/(3×13)

= 4-25/39

=156/39-25/39(L.C.M)

= 131/39
